Employment Scheme for Other Backward Classes
Objectives
The objective of the scheme is to finance persons belong to backward
classes and Minorities to meet his/her travel or other connected expenses for proceeding
to abroad for employment.
Quantum of loan and pattern of financing
This scheme is an own fund scheme of the corporation. Maximum loan
amount available under the Scheme is Rs.30,000/- per beneficiary.
Eligibility
1. The applicant must belong to any one of the notified Backward Classes and Minorities Communities
of the state.
2. The annual family income of the applicant must be below Rs.70,000/-
3. Age
of the applicants must be between 18 and 50
4. One dependent (father/mother/wife/brother/sister) of the loanee
should sign in the agreement as co-obligant.
5. The applicant should produce his valid passport and job visa/group
visa.

Rate of interest and repayment
The rate of interest is 8.5%. The entire loan amount shall be repaid
to KSBCDC within a period of not exceeding 36 months in equated
monthly installments.
